Hi and welcome to Scamwarners. And well done for suspecting it's a scam. It is.
Creation Date........ 2009-10-29
Registration Date.... 2009-10-29
Expiry Date.......... 2010-10-29

A free website set up three weeks ago for only one year, which says it's a scam.
One of our site killers will be along shortly to take a look at it.

I am British, and have some familiarity with property rental, and London apartment prices. And therefore I can see immediately that the London Letting Services website is not how I would expect it to be. The terms and conditions are not written the way one would expect on a UK Letting Agency website. But, moreover, the rental prices for these apartments are simply wrong.

For example: the site offers a three-bedroomed ground floor Burlington Lodge Apartment in Fulham, London, furnished, equipped, and serviced - for £260 per week.

But, a two-bedroomed ground floor Burlington Lodge Apartment in Fulham, London, unequipped, and not serviced, is currently (genuinely!) advertised at a much higher price.

There is no way that a larger and more luxurious apartment would be offered for such a low rental price. It is, as you said, shoushou, unbelievable.

This site appears to be very similar: http://londonquicklet.com/index.html

Chris Fuller , do you know if it's possible to find similar apartments as the ones in the lonondlettingservices.com , charging not more than 500-600 per week??

Shoushou: it is quite easy to gain access to an apartment that is available to rent - without actually being the person who can legally let it to you! Please don't ask your relative to meet the man from this website - it will not prove anything.

Suggest, instead, that your relative goes to a local Estate Agent and asks there about apartments to rent. That will be the safe way.

They can also ask the Estate Agent for their website address, so you will be able to look for yourself what is available.

Welcome here ilalilla88, i only whish it was for another reason you would join our forum.
Which site do you mean? If it's one of the above mentioned site's, thei're taken down so your payment wasn't recently i presume. How did you make the payment, via western union or money gram or with a bank transfer. If the latter is the case you could try to get your money back if you ask your bank to withdraw the payment. But as i said then the payment must have been recently otherwise the money is gone.

Being a victim doesn't mean you stand alone. We're here to help you.
