There are a lot of scams around supposedly coming from ECOWAS officials or banks. The ECOWAS organisation has nothing to do with these scams. They are certainly not randomly contacting people to assist in some kind of business deal or a money recovering scheme.

ECOWAS is awarding contracts for the supply of Relief Materials - Rice and Beverages for Haiti Earthquake Victims.
