This has been on Craigslist for at least a month....curious , new in town and out of work...I wrote him this morning...what's his scam??
He claims to have won the lottery..TWICE and did very well in the stock market....went on and on about taxes and having his money in Aruba and Switzerland to avoid high U.S. taxes. Says he is looking for a "forever thing" and "wants to help". I am to meet him tomorrow at a local McDonald's and bring a number/amount that I would like to recieve each month from him in the form of an ATM card from Wells Fargo Bank. He claims that is the only bank he deals with due to their high level of security. I am also supposed to tell him what I am willing to "do" for this money. He wrote me several times and then gave me his phone number...I called him...he was very articulate and seemed very professional. He says the ATM card is the only way he does this...he called it an "arrangement"..Also he mentioned his accountant would handle the cash flow. What does all this mean?? Thank you in advance for any insight.

I will attempt posting this once more. I have had some good responses in the past, had some great trips and interactions as well, and made some people very happy in the process. Please read this entire post before you respond.
I am a professional SWM in my lower/mid 30s. I do not smoke. I drink socially. As the title of this post says at least at first I would like this to be mutually beneficial. My situation is a bit unique. I have a select handful of friends that have done this in the past and had great results, thus I am wanting to give it a try. A little more about me, I travel a lot and pretty much whenever I want to. I am very well off financially as to never have to work unless I get bored. I like to enjoy the finer things in life such as "fine" dining, very nice travel locations, and shopping. I know for a guy to like shopping it is weird.
As talking with my friends that have done this in the past I was told it is best to give a few examples of what some situations may be. A woman looking for assistance with college education, a woman wanting assistance with car/house, a woman looking to travel and see some of the finer things in life outside of Savannah and the United States such as Europe, southeast Asia, South America, etc. These are just examples of things and I am not limited to just this. Again beneficial of course. No one in their right mind would give this out just because.
I do not discriminate race at all. I was not raised this way. If you are thinking in your mind this is a rich stud with a six pack lounging on the beach or next to the pool, please get a reality check. This is not the movies. I am just a normal guy who happens to have a lot to play with, and I do mean a lot. If you choose to reply I will be very blunt. You need to include two or more clear pictures, a bit about yourself so I can get a feel for your attitude, and what you are looking for. the last part is very important! First impressions are VERY important. My pic will only be sent to whom I choose so if I am asked for it and I have not sent it to you guess what.. you may never get it! I am picky because I can be. I like personality. I do not pursue anyone. If you are really wanting this then once we have made contact you will need to show me this is what you want. I will be waiting for your responses.
