He has threatened to use pictures of me and him...which is impossible and have sent some pretty nasty pictures to me to confirm he will post it to the Internet. I have deleted all Facebook accounts, LinkedIn accounts that have my information available. I don't know h
What else I can do. I have reported his threats to yahoo and google and not sure where else to take this to protect myself...what now ?

I can assure you that there is no problem. Scammers do not have time to victimise a spent job. He is just trying to get money and blackmailing you. Blackmailers only achieve success by succeeding and he has no chances. You should ignore this impotent little scammer and don't contact him again. The scammer doesn't know if you have seen messages and he doesn't care either. Ignore it and he will move on or as we say in the trade--P*ss off. You are a winner in this rather than that **********

Now he is texting me because he can't get through by email. He knows where I work. I have ignored the text. I am not sure if I should go to authorities, my boss and let them know what is going on. I am not paying him.

Just ignore him. Most likely he's in a far-off country and has no way to harm you at work. The authorities won't be able to do anything. Let your boss know only if he might find out that you're receiving strange texts.

Hi M. The best way to handle the situation is to simply ignore the silly tosser. It proves the point desperation has set in by trying to intimidate you. The scamming tricksters are all about fleecing money out of the target.
Nothing bad will happen to you in relation to this. When the scammer wakes up and realises, it will leave you alone. If you're concerned with the phone contact being received, maybe contact the phone provider you use? They may be able to block it's phone number from contacting you or block received calls from it's locality?

Thank you everyone,

It's scary to feel so victimized. I figured he is in a far away country...but when I did the Internet search on me I was surprised at exactly what he can find out. His texts started with an answer for today I ignored the email simply cause I never got it. Then the second text was he knew exactly my tittle and place of employment. I went to my bosses to inform them of the situation my coo, my CIO, risk management and our hospital lawyer all know what he is threatening. Per their recommendation I did a formal report. I made him aware of all that I reported to except this site. basically told me I could tell anyone he doesn't f%%# care. Did I know how many email he has. At first I thought he was directing this to me but I think he was referring to himself. When I didn't respond an hour later he sent a text stating I had a week to comply or he would ruin my world and post a web site abiut me where I work my home address and business and pictures. I don't like how this feels ....but I won't be paying him either. I deleted all social sites with my information on them, deleted my main email account I will delete Skype and messenger. Iam thinking about changing my phone number but I think I will see if he can block him. It's through yahoo that I am getting these email texts...ugghhhh this sucks

He won't set up a website. As already mentioned, the scammer is more than likely over in West Africa somewhere; possibly Nigeria. For one, he probably won't even know how to set up a website; two, making a website takes time and costs money. The scammer will not invest time in something that won't bring him any money (as a general rule), and furthermore he will certainly not spend any money (paying someone to create a website for him). Three, even in the very unlikely event that he does set up a website, it would accomplish nothing for him. By that logic, he won't do it - see point one. He is calling your bluff; trying to shake you down for money. A scammer will say anything to try and wring money from a prospective victim; however they are very lazy and not willing to invest time or money into a potential victim who they don't think will send them money. Alas, the old idiom rings true: talk is cheap.

Simply stop any and all communication with him, period. Ignore him completely, and do not under any circumstances reply to any of his messages/phone calls/et cetera, et cetera. He will go away as soon as he realises you aren't going to pay up. It may be a couple of weeks - after this 1 week "ultimatum" he has given you with the threat of a website, he may harrass you telling you that your time is up. Keep on ignoring him completely, and he will go away. I can tell you this with absolute and utter confidence and certainty.

Simply put it out of your mind altogether; don't worry and do not engage him in any communication whatsoever. I cannot stress this enough. Hope this helps.
