I am Originally from from Spain,I am the only child to my late parents, my father was Spanish and my mother Irish. I spent most of my life in Spain when my parents got divorced.But presently i reside in California.I finished high school in Spain and went for my University in Washington DC. I graduated from University of the District of Columbia as a Civil/structural Engineer. I got married while I was in the university. I started working in a private Engineering Company until late 90's. Well it was a beautiful job although it does have a lot to offer those who can’t afford and pay for a “safe” location. Then, I later got a new job in the New Jersey Mining Company as regional supervisor.So more on me: well, I grew up on a very large wine farm in Valencia Spain with my parent, went to school there and finished high school and spent most of my adult life in Washington during my University years. Got married and had my daughter Victoria all in Washington DC.

Since I started work, the department I worked in NJ Mining Corporation was a joint venture between three Mining Companies and I was specially involved in providing engineering consulting services and expertise to the upstream energy sector of exploration and mining. This division was acquired later by Transco UK that became British Gas (worldwide energy company). I worked with the Corporation until 1998 in the position of Head of Planning and Development in the US. In 2001 I opened an engineering & mining Consultant Agency, where we serve as brokers to Government, individuals and organizations that wish to explore, purchase or deal on Coal and African Diamonds. I could not refuse the success I made in that venture with the same capacity.When my wife died, I took up a new business concept. I started importing Uncut Diamonds and Tanzanite from Canada, Tanzania, South Africa, Angola, Russia and Botswana. Because of my experience in the mining industry, I had access/connection to Uncut Diamonds that worth considerable amounts, I continued to purchase diamonds and sell in the US,UK and EUROPE because I can really get it raw and cheap.


As a Civil Engineer who majored his carrier in Gemstone Mining and Engineering Construction & Consultants, People seek partnerships and find various investment sectors which they may find lucrative or are considering, they will make some form of communication with an agent, brokers, etc. These agents will contact me and present the business plan of their clients, the investment sector concerned. Mostly in Coal, Diamond and Gold Mining. I will work round these projects, ensuring that this can be lucrative and in the long term. The developed plan and reports are now sent to the concerned agents, who will in turn inform their clients respectively. However, in recent time, I have channeled all my energy and business into the uncut diamond business. This is also a very lucrative sector, it does not make you millions in an instant, but it does keep you going until you receive a major contract from a government broker or an agent. I guess you are familiar in this field and not new to this information. As you know already, Uncut diamonds are gemstones found at mines, they are rough and not polished, and you engage a gemologist who actually does the testing of the stones, inform you of the quality, size of the carat and any relevant information which is required. It involves going to the mines, sometimes, hours and hours of travel to other countries. When you purchase the uncut diamonds directly from the Mine owners at a very cheap rate and sell to Jewelers. However, what happens is, due to the fact that these stones are uncut and say it is 3.7ct for instance, in a jewellery store when polished,0.5ct can go for usd20,000.00,but the stone being uncut and 3.7ct,you can probably buy 0.5ct for usd5000.00,in other words, the uncut Diamond with size 3.7ct will be, 3.7ct times usd5000.00.This also goes on, the bigger the stone, the more expensive it becomes. This is really a very rigorous process, sometimes; you take a considerable amount of time to locate a mine that could be used through your connections. This is usually done by mining firms, you need to negotiate with them and come to some form of an agreement with them. A reasonable percentage allocation will be agreed upon, and then you employ laborers who will actually do the filtering of the stones, sometimes, the stones can be found in a muddy area, (THIS IS ILLEGAL MINING) so once they collect these, the gemologist then comes and begins testing. Upon completion of the process, you will now supply to buyers. this is really something big and I cannot explain to you everything by email, it does at least give you an idea of what I do.

I have not told this much to anybody outside my circle and that has been a while. So where was I besides giving you my life history? I have travelled a lot although business travel is not fun or relaxing to me. So If I have my way, I usually assign representatives on my behalf if there is need for a meeting outside the country. Although there are certain businesses negotiations that I have to be there in person so I travel when the opportunity comes. I do go on vacation to various exotic places. There are a lot of places that I would have still love to visit and would like to have fun and enjoy these places and to share these destinations and those that I have visited before with that special person. Relocating my business will not be a problem as I can operate my dealings from any part of the world I find myself.I have not been in a relationship for long now because, I don't just want to rush into any relationship which will not last long after the death of my wife. I lost my beloved wife to cancer, it was a terrible and traumatic condition for me to bear.I really dont want to talk much about this because it's a memory lane i wont want travel now.We had a daughter together her name is Victoria, she is happily married and lives with her family in Texas.It's been 8 years since the death of my wife and i have tried to be in a relationship,but the previous ladies i have dated were too demanding materialistic and otherwise because they knew that I work so hard and am financially OKAY to say but wont want to blow my own trumpet.I want a relationship that can lead to something great hope you understand?.I am still on the rebound and very careful to open up my heart to love,but i do hope i am guided aright by my heart and not my head this time.


I'm a laid back, funny person who enjoys making people laugh all the time. I love to be around the water in the summer.My perfect match would be someone who enjoys my interests as much as I enjoy hers.I think that the person I am looking for will be my best friend and lover in one. African Blood Diamonds

Experts claim that the illegal sale of blood diamonds has produced billions of dollars to fund civil wars and other conflicts in various African nations, including Sierra Leone (where conflict ended in 2002), Angola, Liberia, Ivory Coast and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Most of the time, the people behind these civil wars and rebellions oppose legitimate governments and desire control over the area's lucrative diamond industry.

For example, in Sierra Leone a group known as the Revolutionary United Front killed, threatened, and even cut off the arms of people living and working in diamond villages until they were able to take control of the mines in the area. Then the group moved on to the next village to do more of the same, effectively terrorizing the entirety of Sierra Leone, to the point that many people fled their homes in fear. All in all, roughly 20,000 innocent people suffered bodily mutilation, 75,000 were killed and 2 million fled Sierra Leone altogether [source: PBS Online NewsHour]. According to National Geographic News, all of these conflicts combined have displaced millions and resulted in the deaths of more than 4 million people.

In the 1990s, human rights organizations worked to bring these tales of genocide and greed to the forefront of human concern. In response, the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KCPS) was created in 2002 to regulate diamond trading and keep blood diamonds from entering the legitimate diamond market. The Kimberley Process was envisioned by the diamond industry and put into practice by the United Nations.

According to De Beers, more than 70 countries participate in the Kimberley Process, which requires the governments in these countries to ensure that all diamond shipments are exported in secure containers. In addition, each shipment must also have a specifically numbered and government-validated certificate that promises the shipment does not contain conflict diamonds. The countries must also agree to refuse any diamond shipments not containing an authentic Kimberley Process Certificate.

Proponents of the Kimberley Process claim that 99.8 percent of the world's diamonds are now legitimate and conflict-free. Critics, however, claim that the program doesn't prevent diamonds from being easily smuggled from war-torn countries to Kimberley Process countries and then passed off as legitimate. In fact, the United Nations and the United States government released reports as recently as 2006 stating that roughly $23 million worth of Ivory Coast diamonds were smuggled into trade and distributed as legitimate [source: National Geographic].
Although Africa supplies about 60 percent of the world's diamond supply, there are alternate sources [source: PBS NewsHour Extra]. First, remember that not all African diamond mines are corrupt. For example, the African nation Botswana has been able to thrive thanks to a successful diamond mining industry. As recently as 1999, it was considered the world's fastest-growing economy. In fact, three-quarters of Botswana's export profits and 45 percent of the country's government revenue are produced by diamonds. Thanks to a legitimate diamond industry, Botswana has enjoyed a complete about-face from one of the world's poorest countries in 1966 to the world's most rapidly growing economy over the last 25 years [source: Allafrica.com].
