The Scottish Investment Trust is a genuine investment trust, and this scam mail includes a link to their genuine website. However, this email is not from the Scottish Investment Trust.
The genuine Scottish Investment Trust does not use a Yahoo email address, but uses its own @sit.co.uk address. The telephone number of the genuine Scottish Investment Trust begins +44 13, not +44 70 as given in this scam mail. +44 70 telephone numbers, widely used by scammers, are UK Redirect telephone numbers - they redirect all calls to the scammer's own mobile phone in his own country. This scammer used a Nigerian proxy server while sending this email, but is probably located in Nigeria himself.
In reality, there are no Annual Investment Proceeds to claim or share. The details in this scam mail are invented. The scammer will require some type of fees to be paid, and will tell you that this is necessary before the fund is received by you. The fund will never be received, however, because the money does not exist.
