Has someone offered you a huge sum of money or a valuable consignment? It's a 419 or advance fee fraud - find out how they work, and what to do to be safe.

It's about the scammer asks the victim to receive a big sum to be delivered by a NATO courier as a package of personal belongings of a dead soldier to his relative. The courier will meet you in a foreign country.

The "NATO courier" then will demand a couple of thousands of dollars to pay for the "consignment fee".

Now why would a soldier - any soldier have with him any high-value belonging that would require a high consignment fee?
