Has anyone dealt with an attorney named Martin Paisner of Berwin Leighton Paisner law firm in London? Fraudulent emails offering to send so many millions of dollars to someone randomly chosen as a recipient of a deceased wealthy person, have been sent by the lawyer named Martin Paisner. It has been described as a very clever scam elsewhere here. Yes, the law firm and this lawyer appear quite legitimate. Is there someone out their, probably from Nigeria, impersonating this attorney?

It appears to be a scam. No one gives away millions to complete strangers.

The law firm is real. The person is a fraudster using the company name as cover.

It's very easy for scammers to go to a legitimate law firm's website, choose the names of a solicitor, create a suitable email address, and simply send out their scam emails.

You can see an official warning by the SRA of another solicitor from the same firm recently being impersonated for the same scam.

It looks like these scammers chose to impersonate multiple solicitors from the same firm.
