Has someone offered you a huge sum of money or a valuable consignment? It's a 419 or advance fee fraud - find out how they work, and what to do to be safe.

This scammer hopes to arouse curiosity. He probably thinks that tempting you with the possibility of receiving some 'important information' will make you more receptive to his scam when he sends it in his next mail.

The 'important information' will probably be a pretence that he has a very large sum of money that he would like to share with you. This will not be true.

Alternatively, he might be making a list of working email addresses and/or people who will answer unsolicited mails from strangers. He might use that list himself at a later date, or pass it on, or sell it, to scamming colleagues.

Ignore and delete emails like this.
