You are absolutely right. I have no doubt that this is indeed a scammer.

The "daddy" makes mores sense when you consider that most scammers are young, but it is really the bog-standard African mistakes that give it away.

Can you post his ID?

I notice that the picture has been taken off his profile on the dating site. Wonder if someone else has caught onto him or maybe he looks at this site!!! Should I report him to the site????

There is little gain in reporting his profile, scammers get lots of practice at putting together dating profiles and can usually put them together in a few minutes with their copy and pasted details so losing a profile is a very small inconvenience.

On the other hand, having their profiles available for people to do research on can be an invaluable resource, when we investigate romance scammers, it is often the varying profiles of one "person" that gives their scam away.

By having the profile deleted there is a slight chance of saving somebody from being scammed if they had only just received the initial message from the scammer but in most cases, scammers will move to email or chat in the first message anyway so that is not likely.

For the sites where you can leave a message or comment on their profile it can be usefull to do that advising that the person is a scammer as once the scammer has his profile set up he will seldom spend the time to check it, meanwhile, other people who may not have been aware of scammers will begin to see that dating sites are not quite as they are advertised and are full of dangers
