Here is a variation of the above.

Like the above email, this was not sent by the son of a former President; it was sent by a scammer. The scammer does not possess over $38 million, and does not need a trustee.

He (or the fake lawyer, fake banker, or fake diplomat that he will introduce into his story) will require some fees to be paid before the money can be received. As the money does not exist, however, nothing will ever be received.
