I have received several emails from a Pastor on linkedin ego started he wants to give me money for my ministry. Says he is dying an wants me to carry on his legacy. Says is in undisclosed hospital in nigeria due to family trying to get his money. His linkedin professio al site shows he suposefly been a Pastir over thirty years an suposedly helps the orphans. Has sent me all details to forward to Fidelity bank plc with phone number of 234 816 789 6320.. Have checked out the bank but haven't a clue if number is to the real bank off not. Can't find this number on any scam pages for nigeria but they are a lot smarter nowadays. Need help with this one .Haven't had them ask for money yet an have made it known I am POOR

Could you post the emails, including headers? This sounds more like a dying widower scam than a next-of-kin scam.

any pastor that has money to spare has not been doing God's work all his life, period. Let alone going to give it to a stranger as opposed to any charitable cause closer to home. A stranger on the internet is the last person anyone with any common sense would give money to, unless there was something in it for them ( such as money laundering, or other illegal activities).

+2348167896320 is a Nigerian mobile phone number. A legitimate bank would not be using mobile phones.

Please post the emails that this scammer is using.
