Recently the following mail has been massbombed to many adresses. The sender claims to be involved in the PREACH Ministry, located in Bapatla, India.
In later mails a site is included where pictures can be seen with lots of children, where the man looks like he is doing charity.
Because of the spamming of this opening mail some more research has been done on this charity. Various nearby operating organisations were mailed and asked to provide us some information if possible on the claims this man is making.
The first reply was from someone also living in Bapatla. He told us that the charity is nothing more than a name and that no charitable works are being done. None of the orphanages, churches, oldage homes seemed to exist.
The pictures provided appeared to be the children of his neighbours, and aren't orphans. Others are copied from other sites and he claims to be his. Apparently he is tutoring the keyboard to some of their children, and not looking after orphans.
A reply from another organisation:
This seems to be in contradiction of what is claimed in his second mail:
What I conclude out of the above data is that this person is not running a legitimate charity. The odds are very big that the money sent will be mostly spent on himself and not on the causes he wants others to believe.
If you feel you want to donate to a good cause I'd strongly advise to stick with bigger, well known charities such as Unicef, Red Cross, etc to be completely sure your money does not end up in the wrong hands.

I am Srisudha and w/o VINOD BABU resident of BAPATLA town in South India .I am pastor and Founder of the ministries named PREACH {Preach Rural Environment and Action for Community Health} [registered no 303/06] it has several functions in several ways, like AIDS programmers, maintaining old age home, orphan home, conducting medical camps to the poor people, prisoners visiting and Gospel meetings etc…
It was very difficult to me maintaining orphan home with local funds.I am conducting Gospel meetings in villages. I am searching for donators for my ministry.I hope your help lift up my ministry by the grace of God.

I searched almost 1 hour to find out his orphanage and ministry, finally I found out his house one corner of the village. I try to meet him but he is not in the house when I went to him. I asked his neighbors about him they said he is not running any ministry here.

I am servicing to the God with 10 pastors among the villages and tribal areas without tireless.
They are all amiability with preaching gospel and save souls in Almighty.
And I am also running an orphan home with children.
They are all without parents and living several places.
Their parents are died of some causes,then the children are begging and robbery among the crowd.
I feel with tears and I take by the hand and feeding them with rented shelter.
At this time we are feeding 30 children.
Every Saturday we are conducting pasting prayer with the children for sponsors and our needs.
We are providing to education and every Sunday conducting Sunday school for the children.
They are all pray daily four times.
And also we are running a church named Sharon flowers with orphan children.
Bro,
It was very difficult to be maintaining the home and we cannot provide all things for them with local funds.
So, I want to your help for the orphan home and pastors needs.
your help lift up my ministry by the grace of God.
The money expense to orphan children home and help to pastors, And they got benefits in staying in their life.
The children enjoyed allot in the school and at in the home.
Then they will grow in the Lords presence.
If you send the money for the orphan children I will do justice for best of my knowledge with Gods fear.Later I will produce all the bills through your email.
