Hello Britbrat7808,
A legitimate payday lender or bank would never ask for a payment to be sent via Money Gram or Western Union. This is a scam and you will not be charged with a felony.

Just ignore them and they will go away.

It is ALWAYS a scam
If the pet seller or shipper asks for money to be sent via Western Union, Money Gram, any brand of gift card. Walmart To Walmart , Zelle , PayPal friends and family option, or mentions Cameroon

hi and welcome to scamwarners, Britbrat7808.

do yourself a favor and use your favorite search engine to look for "fake debt collectors" "loan scams" and if you live in the USA, the "FDCRA" to learn what real debt collectors can and cannot do ( use the quotes in your searches). the FDCRA also tells you your rights and how to maintain them in the event of a real debt collector calling. ( the one you asked about is definitely a scammer). Real debt collectors cannot threaten criminal charges because there are none that can be made against you, even if you really owe the debt it is a civil matter, not criminal.

The other thing is that she would not tell me what bank that I used for my check and she then told me that if i didnt pay that a warrent would be put out for my arrest and then i would have to get a criminal attorney and turn myself in and my husband would have to post bail and then go to court and would have to pay attorny fees and court costs and would have felony fraud on my record. I have never been in trouble and have a brand new baby so i got very upset im just really scared
