Welcome Mr. Pope,
I would definitely like to get the record straight here, but I also need to clarify and/or get further information on some things:
Copied and pasted directly from your website (my color added for emphasis):
THE SKY SQUARE SOCCER CAMP owned by the Sky Square LLC a United States company registered under the Number 2719699 of 175 North Point Avenue, North Carolina, United States
There is no suite number, and there is definitely a difference between an avenue and a drive, which you now claim is your address. Now I realize that your website has plenty of errors and poor English in general, but are you saying that it is unreasonable to assume that a company would at least ensure that their physical location as posted on their site is accurate? Or that a representative of the company would know their own address? And for that matter, their company registration number?
And the BBB has
very clearly stated that your address cannot be verified.
As far as TerranceBoyce's posts go, I am afraid I cannot see where there is any hint of slander or libel. Terrance has offered some advice that is always wise to follow when dealing with any opportunity of this kind. He has also pointed to a BBB listing that is legitimately posted, and is in fact linked to your phone number. Please feel free to show exactly where he has posted false information about your company.
In addition to the questions raised since your post, please do address the following points:
I notice that you are also silent on the subject of the photos. Please do explain how photos of an event in Hungary ended up posted as photos of your Denmark camp. To my knowledge, (and please do feel free to correct me if I am misinformed on this subject) Denmark and Hungary are different countries.
Ignoring the questions about the legitimacy of the claims regarding Chukwuemeka ojiakor, which I am not in a position to research myself right now, please also explain how a
single player justifies these claims from your website:
SSSC organized Camps in Europe, United States and Canada, SSSC has an unrivaled record of success placing candidates as professional soccer players into the top teams all over the world for the last seven years
Huge number of players has achieved their dreams of becoming a professional soccer player through our soccer camp programs.
While "huge" is obviously a subjective number, I believe
all would agree that "one" or even 2 or 3, is not "huge."
And this statement of yours here from your recent post:
We didn't set up this company to guarantee players will get a profesional contract, we make it clear we are only giving oppurtunity to them to train, and compete.
is clearly at odds with your website, including these posted statements and the ones posted above that do in fact suggest that the attendees should attend this camp to get a professional contract.
Our aim is to help you to realize your dream to becoming a professional soccer player.
Please note this soccer camp is not Holiday/fun camp, is for players who have what it takes to become a professional football/soccer player.
From the beginnning, we made it clear to them, if u wish to to terminate your contract, we can only refund you with the same account you used to pay for your application. They insisted we send money to a different account number which is located in a different country which they initiated their payments.
So you acknowledge that you were paid. Have you contact the bank that issued the original payment? Made any effort to verify their claims? Or have you simply kept the money? If you received money, it must have come from somewhere, and if you are suggesting it was stolen, have you tried to return it to the rightful owners?
I would also like to understand this:
http://www.scamwarners.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=127224#p127224 The poster (who claimed to be in New Jersey), posted 18 minutes after opening an account here from a Lagos, Nigeria IP. Again, you can certainly correct me if I am mistaken, but I am pretty confident that it is not possible to get from Nigeria to New Jersey in 18 minutes. False testimonials such as this one are very strong indicators of scam. The only party that would benefit from that testimonial is your company.
As for the below quote:
How far do you really want to take this Mr. Steele? With all do respect, and a piece of advice that you may consider useful for you in the future. Our great nation is faced with undeniably horrific tragedies, which we as a great nation has to solve together. Attacking a business that has successfully proven the results we preach is not the way to gain attention in online media.
I do have to ask that you refrain from making condescending personal statements about posters you do not know, and please avoid making irrelevant statements about "our nation" (a bit misinformed, too, when you consider the fact that I am pretty certain that Mr. Steele is not from the United States.) This board is about fighting scams. Mr. Steele is passionate about preventing people from being scammed, plain and simple. There is absolutely no evidence to suggest any other motivation, and your statement could be interpreted as a personal attack. If you want to discuss the state of our nation, or any nation, I would suggest you find a more appropriate board for that discussion.
