Be very careful when these numbers call you

Many banks use the Fraud Detection Center to monitor your debit cards and if they see fraudulent activity
they will call you to verify some information
There are also scammers out there using these numbers to fake being a part of the Fraud Detection Center so
please be aware of differences

THE BIGGEST DIFFERENCE IS THIS --IF THE FRAUD CENTER ASKS FOR JUST THE LAST 4 DIGITS OF YOUR ACCT NUMBER OR
DEBIT NUMBER OR EVEN YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER THEY ARE LEGITIMATE
IF THEY ASK FOR THE WHOLE CARD NUMBER OR YOUR WHOLE SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER THEY ARE A SCAM FOR SURE -
CALL YOUR BANK IMMEDIETLEY IF YOU THINK YOU HAVE FRAUDULENT CHARGES ON A DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD AND LET THEM HANDLE IT

Remember NEVER give out your personal information to anyone who contacts you via phone or email. If someone calls you asking for your personal information get as much information from them as you can. Such as their name, company name, phone number and what it is regarding. Tell them you will call them back. Then hang up and wait five minutes, sometimes the call does not disconnect, and then call your bank using the number on the back of your card or on your bank statement and tell them about the call and ask them to check your accounts.
