Telephone/Email, Order Merchandise and Overpay Scam .


It begins with a call to a local merchant from this telephone number . 832-271-0812 . You are advised from this call that someone wishes to purchase a large amount of product and are directed to email this email address . [email protected] . Responding to this email , we get a response from 41.155.14.191 . Lagos Nigeria .

In the email conversation we are directed to give them a cell phone number . I respond with a text capable online phone number . We begin receiving texts from this number 972-628-0132 . In the ensuing conversation the scammers attempt to order $900. worth of merchandise and add additional funds to it , requesting the additional funds be western unioned to a shipper . They are attempting to use credit cards under the name of Linda Jordan . An additional email is also used by the scammers and a Name Linda Jordan . [email protected] .

Googling Linda Jordan and [email protected] expose other scams including Hay Purchase Scams and Towing Scams . We also discover another email address [email protected] .
We also recieve calls from 210-446-0475 . 646-395-7466 . 909-255-9780 . 402-694-3656 . 210-446-0465 .


Googling these numbers we find major activity on the 402-694-3656 number . Including additional merchant fraud attempts as well as postings about their activities on the Employment Listings of Craigslist . I suspect they may be engaging in ID Theft as well .
